Welcome to Expert Village. I am Schell Michael and in this segment we are going to be talking about your surfer’s workout. Alright, time for your get up and get going or you “pop-ups”. You can practice this in your bed at home actually. It can be fun if you can get a couple of people to do it with you. You guys just lay on your bed. You kind of just act like you are paddling and then you just like pop up . The buoyancy of the bed can also help as well. It can help you get a little more balance and that is good. At first you feel like you will not really feel anything. You are just kind of like “oh, this isn’t really doing anything,” until you wake up the next morning and you realize after doing a hundred pop-ups you can no longer pop up. So be careful with that because sometimes you will just get so excited and you will be like “Yeah, I know how to do it.” Another thing too, if you have just in your backyard you can put out a mat or maybe if you have like an old junk surfboard you can just lay it out and practice actually on a board and just pop-up or practice popping up on the beach.Pretty much you can pop-up anywhere. Have fun with it and pop-ups are good. .
