For me it’s like a reset button when I go into the ocean. Mentally, spiritually and physically as well I wouldn’t call some of those caught, I just got on the waves maybe just stood up. Small waves, big guy, it’s the best you can do. I’m very happy. I didn’t know many Muslims before I met the Shaykh. He’s absolutely peaceful, genuine, really really big-hearted, honest bloke. Unless we expand the world we live in and that’s through the people that we meet, you’re never going to see anything of what the world can offer. It’d be like sticking to your own beach and never seeing another one, you know. Australia is a fantastic country and it could be better. I’m not going to just love it or leave it as they say, I think that’s selling Australia short and Australians short. The more as Aussies and as human beings that we can get together connect, meet each other, talk to one another, try and understand each other Then the better this country is going to be for everyone irrespective of faith or cultural background. .
